The Time Out Tastemaker Guide
Welcome! Here's your essential guide to the Time Out Tastemaker programme.
Here’s what you need to know, straight up front:
Most Tastemakers write around 8-10 user reviews a month on Time Out. Feel free to write them all in one go, or sporadically throughout the month. If you write more, that’s even better.
You’re not going to be paid for writing reviews, nor can you tell people you work for Time Out. But - we have got some sweet freebies and events lined up throughout the next year for you - some coming very soon.
The Tastemaker pact between us and you is a two way street. If you do the user review writing, we’ll do the freebie-providing by way of tickets, goodies and events. If you find you don’t want to do it anymore, or don’t have time to write, let us know. Similarly, if you stop reviewing, we’ll always let you know that you might lose your spot in the squad. We have a long waiting list of people who want to join, so it’s simply the fairest way for us to do things.
- You’ll get a Tastemaker email every week on Wednesday mornings at 11am. Sometimes when we have just a few tickets for things it will come down to quickest RSVPs on who get the spots. So what we’re saying is... keep an eye on your email on Wednesdays!
